A panel of experts from the philanthropic world will explore how organizations are experimenting with cryptocurrencies for fundraising and how new blockchain-based systems are emerging to enhance philanthropic efforts. Is cryptocurrency just a fad or is it something that nonprofits should be paying closer attention to? How much money is actually being raised through Bitcoin and how does an organization engage in cryptocurrency and blockchain fundraising directly? These and other questions will be addressed by foundation and nonprofit representatives whose organizations are already leveraging these new technologies for fundraising, sharing their direct experiences and lessons learned.
