SPEAKER:

SUSAN HOWLETT

Fundraising Consultant, Trainer, Author, and Core Faculty at University of Washington's Fundraising Certificate Program

We all struggle to engage our board members in strategic, sustainable fundraising.  We ask, they say yes, but in the long run, we’re disappointed with their efforts.  This highly interactive conversation will get to the root of this pervasive problem and offer concrete, practical, no-cost solutions that you can implement immediately.

Outcomes:  By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify systemic reasons why their board members haven’t been effective fundraisers
  • Name the three most important things board members should be prioritizing to foster a sustainable development strategy at their organization
  • List at least five things they can ask board members to do that suit their skill sets, their comfort zones, their interests and their timeframes.

Registration for this event is REQUIRED.

$40 for non-DER members and $25 for DER members.

To receive the discounted luncheon rate, please log-in to your account before registering.

This joint MGM & Luncheon event is pending approval for 3.0 CFRE credits.
